Comunication Project Series
2025 –
Running alongside the main ScalRobThinFab research, this science communication project translates experimental work on robotic timber fabrication into public-facing formats — reaching audiences from schoolchildren to Erfurt's wider urban community. Four interlocking action lines span exhibitions, discourse events, hands-on workshops, and a growing digital presence, weaving together physical encounters with material and machine alongside accessible online documentation. Partners including the Stadtmuseum Erfurt, Kinder-Uni, and the Walter-Gropius-Schule anchor the project in the city's existing cultural and educational infrastructure, while recurring formats at the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften mark shared moments of public visibility. With a graphic identity, a project website, and an Instagram channel built to outlast the funding period, the project aims to leave behind not just documentation but a durable network of engagement around regional timber, digital fabrication, and the futures they open up together.
